John's Revelation
Chapter
1
A
revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his
slaves the things which must occur with speed, and he signified by
sending his angel to his slave John, who bore witness of the word of
God and the witness of Jesus Christ, as many things as he saw. 3
Blessed are the one who reads and the ones who hear the words of this
prophecy and who keep the things that have been written in it, for
the time is near.
4 John to the seven churches in Asia: Grace and
peace to you from the one who is and who was and who is coming, and
from the seven spirits which are before his throne, 5 and from Jesus
Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead and the ruler
of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and who has
loosed us out of our sins by his blood, 6 and made us a kingdom,
priests to his God and Father, to him is the glory and the might unto
the ages of the ages: Amen.
7 Behold, he comes with the clouds,
and every eye and those who pierced him will see him, and all the
tribes of the land will wail over him. Yes, amen.
8 I am the
alpha and omega, says the Lord God, the one who is and the one who
was and the one who is coming, the Almighty.
9 I John, your
brother and co-sharer in the affliction and kingdom and endurance in
Jesus, came to be in the island that is called Patmos on account of
the word of God and the witness of Jesus. 10 I came to be in the
spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a loud voice like a
trumpet saying, “Write what you see in a scroll and send it to the
seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to
Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.” 12 And
I turned to see the voice which spoke with me; and having turned I
saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands
one like a son of man, clothed to the feet and girdled round at the
breasts with a golden girdle; 14 and his head and hairs were white as
wool, white as snow, and his eyes like a flame of fire, 15 and his
feet like burnished brass that had been fired in a furnace, and his
voice like the sound of many waters, 16 and he had seven stars in his
right hand, out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword, and
his face was
as the sun shines in its power. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his
feet as dead; and he placed his right hand on me saying, “Fear not:
I am the first and the last 18 and the living one, and I became dead
and behold I am alive unto the ages of the ages, and I have the keys
of death and of hades. 19 Therefore write the things which you saw
and the things which are and the things which are about to occur
after these things. 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw
on my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars
are the
messengers of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the
seven churches.
Chapter
2
“To
the messenger of the church in Ephesus write: The one who holds the
seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks in the midst of the
seven golden lampstands, says these things: 2 I know your works and
labor and your endurance, and that you cannot bear bad men, and did
try the ones who call themselves apostles and are not, and did find
them liars; 3 and you have endurance and bore because of my name, and
have not grown weary. 4 But I have against you that you left your
first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and
repent and do the first works; and if not I am coming to you and will
move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent. 6 But you
have this, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also
hate. 7 The one who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to
the churches. To the one who overcomes I will give to him to
eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
8 “And
to the messenger of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the
last, who became dead and lived again, says these things: 9 I know
your affliction and poverty, but you are rich, and the railing of
those who call themselves Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue
of Satan. 10 Do not fear the things which you are about to suffer.
Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison in order
that you may be tried, and you will have affliction ten days.
Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11
The one who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches. The one who overcomes will by no means be hurt by the
second death.
12 “And to the messenger of the church in Pergamum
write: The one who has the sharp two-mouthed sword says these things:
I know where you dwell; where the throne of Satan is; and that you
hold my name, and did not deny my faith even in the day of Antipas my
faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14
But I have a few things against you, because you have those there who
hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a
stumbling-block before the sons of Israel, to eat idol sacrifices and
to commit fornication. 15 So you also have those who likewise hold
the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Therefore repent; otherwise, I
will come quickly and will fight with them with the sword of my
mouth. 17 The one who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to
the churches. I will give to those who overcome of the manna that
has been hidden, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone
will have been written a new name, which no man knows except the one
who receives it.
18 “And to the messenger of the church in Thyatira write: The Son of God, the one who has his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet like burnished brass: 19 I know your works and your love and your ministry and your endurance, and that your last works are more than the first. 20 But I have this against you that you permit the woman Jezabel, the one who calls herself a prophetess, and who teaches and deceives my slaves to commit fornication and to eat idol sacrifices; 21 and I gave her time in order that she might repent, and she does not wish to repent of her fornication. 22 Behold, I am casting her into a bed, and the ones who are committing adultery with her into her great affliction, unless they shall repent of her works; 23 and I will kill her children with death; and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches kidneys and hearts, and I will give to each one of you according to your works. 24 But I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, as many as do not hold this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they say, I am not casting another burden on you; nevertheless hold what you have until I shall come. 26 And the one who overcomes and who keeps my works until the end, I will give him authority over the nations, 27 and he will shepherd them with an iron staff, as the clay vessels are broken, as I also have received from my Father, 28 and I will give him the morning star. 29 Let the one who has an ear hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Chapter
3
”And
to the messenger of the church in Sardis write: The one who has the
seven spirits of God and the seven stars says these things: I know
your works, that you have a name that you are alive, and yet you are
dead. 2 Be watching, and establish the remaining things which are
about to die; for I have not found your works fulfilled before my
God; 3 remember therefore how you have received and heard, and keep
and repent. If therefore you do not watch, I will come as a
thief, and by no means will you know at what hour I will come on you.
4 But you have a few names in Sardis which did not defile their
garments, and they shall walk with me in white garments, because they
are worthy. 5 The one who overcomes shall be clothed
like this in white garments, and by no means will I blot out his name
out of the scroll of life, and I will confess his name before my
Father and before his angels. 6 Let the one who has an ear hear what
the Spirit says to the churches.
7 “And to the messenger of the
church in Philadelphia write: The holy one, the true one, the
one who has the key of David, the one who opens and no one shall
shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things: 8 I know of
your works; behold, I have given before you an opened door, which no
one can shut; because you have a little power, and did keep my word
and did not deny my name. 9 Behold, I will make some of the synagogue
of Satan, the ones who call themselves Jews, and they are not but
they lie; behold, I will make them that they shall come and they
shall worship before your feet, and they shall know that I loved you.
10 Because you kept my word to endure, I also will keep you out of
the trial that is about to come on all the inhabited earth, to try
the ones who dwell on the earth. 11 I am coming quickly, hold
what you have, in order that no one takes your crown. 12 The one who
overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the shrine of my God, and by
no means will he go forth any longer, and I will write on him the
name of my God and the name of the city of my God, of the new
Jerusalem descending out of heaven from my God, and my new name. 13
Let the one who has an ear hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
14
“And to the messenger of the church in Laodicea write: The
Amen, the faithful and true witness, the chief over God's creation
says these things: 15 I know of your works, that you are neither cold
nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you
are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am about to vomit you out
of my mouth. 17 Because you say, I am rich and have become rich and
have no need, and do not know that you are the one who is wretched
and pitiable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I counsel you to buy
from me gold that has been refined by fire in order that you may
be rich, and white garments in order that you may be clothed and the
shame of your nakedness may not be manifested, and eye-salve to
anoint your eyes in order that you may see. 19 As many as I love I
rebuke and chasten; therefore be hot and repent. 20 Behold, I stand
at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I
will enter to him and will dine with him and he with me. 21 The one
who overcomes, I will give him to sit with me in my throne, as I
also overcame and sat with my Father in his throne. 22 Let the
one who has an ear hear what the Spirit says to the
churches.”
Chapter
4
And
behold, after these things I saw a door that was opened in heaven,
and the first voice which I heard like a trumpet spoke with me,
saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must occur
after these things.” Immediately I became in the
spirit; 2 and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one was sitting
on the throne, 3 and the one who sat was like in appearance to a
jasper stone and a sardius, and there was a rainbow around the throne
like to an emerald in appearance. 4 And around the throne I saw
twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones twenty-four elders who were
clothed in white garments, and on their heads were
golden crowns. 5 And out of the throne came forth lightnings and
sounds and thunders; and seven lamps were burning before the throne,
which are the seven Spirits of God; 6 and before the throne was
as a glassy sea like crystal; and in the midst of the throne and
around the throne were
four living creatures full of eyes front and back. 7 And the first
living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like
a calf, and the third living creature had the face of a man, and the
fourth living creature was
like a flying eagle. 8 And the four living creatures, each one having
six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they
have no respite from saying, “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God the
Almighty, the one who was and the one who is and the one who is
coming.” 9 And whenever the living creatures shall give glory and
honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, to the one who
lives unto the ages of the ages, the twenty-four elders who sit
before the throne will fall, and they will worship the one who lives
unto the ages of the ages and will cast their crowns before the
throne, saying, 11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive
the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all
things, and on account of your will they are and were
created.”
Chapter
5
And
I saw on the right hand of the one who sat on the throne a scroll
that had been written within and on the reverse side, that had been
sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming in a
loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loosen
its seals?” 3 And no one was able in heaven nor on the earth nor
underneath the earth to open the scroll nor to look at it. 4 And I
wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll nor to
look at it. 5 And one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep;
behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, overcame
to open the scroll and its seven seals.” 6 And I saw in the midst
of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of
the elders a lamb standing looking as if it had been slain, having
seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God that
have been sent into all the earth. 7 And he came and took the
scroll
out of the right hand of the one who sat on the throne. 8 And when he
took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders
fell before the Lamb, each one having harps and golden bowls full of
incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new
song, saying, “You are worthy to receive the scroll and to open its
seals, because you were slain and by your blood you purchased to God
people
out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and made them
a kingdom and priests unto God, and they will reign on the earth.”
11 And I saw, and I heard a sound of many angels around the throne
and the living creatures and the elders, and their number was myriads
of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying, “The Lamb who was
slain is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing.” 13 And I heard every creature
which is in heaven and on the earth and underneath the earth and on
the sea and all things in them saying, “To the one who sits on
the throne and to the Lamb belong
the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might unto the ages
of the ages.” 14 And the four living creatures said, “Amen,”
and the elders fell and worshiped.
Chapter
6
And
I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of
the four living creatures saying as with a sound of thunder, “Come.”
2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse, and the one who sat on it
had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went forth overcoming
and in order that he might overcome. 3 And when he opened the second
seal, I heard the second living creature saying,
“Come.” 4 And another horse went forth, red, and to him who sat
on it was given to take peace out of the earth in order that they
shall slay one another, and a great sword was given to him. 5 And
when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature
saying, “Come.” And I looked, and behold, a black horse,
and the one who sat on it had a balance in his hand. 6 And I heard as
a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart
of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius;
and do not harm the oil and the wine.” 7 And when he opened the
fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying,
“Come.” 8 And I looked, and behold, a pale green horse, and the
one who sat on it was named Death, and Hades followed with him, and
authority was given to them over the fourth part of the earth, to
kill with sword and with famine and with death and by the wild beasts
of the earth. 9 And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath
the altar the souls of the ones who had been slain on account of the
word of God and on account of the witness which they had. 10 And they
cried with a loud voice saying, “Until when, holy and true Master,
will you not judge those who dwell on the earth and avenge our
blood?” 11 And a white robe was given to each one of them, and they
were told that they should rest a little time yet, until their
fellow-slaves and their brothers, who were about to be killed as they
were, should be fulfilled. 12 And I saw when he opened the sixth
seal, and a great earthquake occurred, and the sun became black as
sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became as blood, 13 and
the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree being shaken by
a strong wind casts its unripe figs, 14 and the heaven departed as a
scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out
of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth and the great men and
the chiliarchs and the rich men and the strong men and every slave
and free man hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the
mountains, 16 and they said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall
on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and
from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 because the great day of their wrath
came, and who can stand?”
Chapter 7
After this I saw four
angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four
winds of the earth, in order that wind should not blow on the earth
nor on the sea nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel coming up
from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God, and he
cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to
harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth nor
the sea nor the trees, until we seal the slaves of our God on their
foreheads.” 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one
hundred forty-four thousand who were sealed out of every tribe of the
sons of Israel: 5 twelve thousand who were sealed of the Judah tribe,
twelve thousand of the Reuben tribe, twelve thousand of the Gad
tribe, 6 twelve thousand of the Asher tribe, twelve thousand of the
Nephtalim tribe, twelve thousand of the Manassah tribe, 7 twelve
thousand of the Simeon tribe, twelve thousand of the Levi tribe,
twelve thousand of the Issachar tribe, twelve thousand of the Zebulon
tribe, twelve thousand of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand of the
tribe of Benjamin who were sealed. 9 After these things I looked, and
behold, a great crowd, which no one was able to number, out of every
nation and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne
and before the Lamb, who were clothed with white robes, with palms in
their hands; 10 and they cried in a loud voice saying, “Salvation
to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb.” 11 And all the
angels stood round the throne and the elders and the four living
creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped
God, 12 saying, “Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanks and
honor and power and strength to our God unto the ages of ages: Amen.”
13 And one of the elders answered and said to me, “Who are
these ones that are clothed in the white robes and from where did
they come?” 14 And I said to him, “My Lord, you know.”
And he told me, “These are the ones who have come out of the great
affliction and washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of
the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God and serve
him day and night in his shrine, and the one who sits on the throne
will spread his tent over them. 16 They will not hunger any longer
nor will they thirst any longer, neither will the sun nor any heat
fall on them, 17 because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will
shepherd them and will lead them upon fountains of living waters; and
God will wipe off every tear out of their eyes.”
Chapter
8
And
when he opened the seventh seal, a silence occurred in heaven about a
half-hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and
seven trumpets were given to them.
3 And another angel who had a
golden censer came and stood on the altar, and much incense was given
to him, in order that he would give it with the prayers of all the
saints on the golden altar before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the
incense with the prayers of the saints went up before God out of the
hand of the angel. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it
from the fire of the altar and cast it into the earth; and there
occurred thunders and sounds and lightnings and an earthquake.
6
And the seven angels that had the seven trumpets prepared themselves
in order that they might trumpet. 7 And the first trumpeted; and
there occured hail and fire that had been mixed with blood and it was
cast to the earth; and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and
all the green grass was burnt up. 8 And the second angel trumpeted;
and something like a great mountain burning with fire was cast into
the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood, 9 and the third
of the creatures in the sea, that had souls, died, and the third part
of the ships were destroyed. 10 And the third angel trumpeted; and a
great star fell out of heaven burning like a lamp, and it fell onto
the third part of the rivers and onto the fountains of the waters. 11
And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part
of the waters became wormwood, and many of the men died from the
waters because they were made bitter. 12 And the fourth angel
trumpeted; and the third part of the sun and the third part of the
moon and the third part of the stars were struck, in order that the
third part of them might be darkened and the day might not appear for
the third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 And I saw, and
heard one eagle flying in the mid-heaven saying with a great loud
voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the ones who dwell on the earth from the
remaining voices of the trumpets of the three angels that are about
to trumpet.”
Chapter
9
And
the fifth angel trumpeted; and I saw a star that had fallen out of
heaven onto the earth, and the key of the shaft of the abyss was
given to it. 2 And he opened the shaft of the abyss; and a smoke went
up out of the shaft like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun
and the air were darkened by the smoke of the shaft. 3 And locusts
came forth out of the smoke to the earth, and authority was given to
them as the scorpions of the earth have authority. 4 And it was said
to them that they should not harm the grass of the earth nor any
greenstuff nor any tree, except the men who do not have the seal of
God on their foreheads. 5 And it was given to them that they should
not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and
their torment is the torment of a scorpion, whenever it stings a man.
6 And in those days men will seek death and by no means will they
find it, and they will long to die and death will flee from them. 7
And the likenesses of the locusts is like horses that have been
prepared for war, and on their heads were crowns like gold, and their
faces were like men's faces, 8 and they had hairs like women's hair,
and their teeth were like those of lions, 9 and they had breastplates
like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the
sound of many chariots of horses running to war. 10 And they have
tails and stings like scorpions, and their authority is to harm men
five months with their tails. 11 They have a king over them, the
angel of the abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he
has the name Apollyon. 12 The first woe passed away; behold yet two
woes come after these things.
13 And the sixth angel trumpeted;
and I heard a voice out of the four horns of the golden altar before
God, 14 saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet, “Loose the
four angels that have been bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15
And the four angels that had been prepared for that hour and day and
month and year were loosed, in order that they should kill the third
part of men. 16 And the number of body of the cavalry soldiers was
two myriads of myriads; I heard their number. 17 And thus I saw the
horses and the ones who sat on them in the vision, having
breastplates that were fire-colored and dusky red and sulfurous; and
the horses' heads were like lions' heads, and fire and smoke and
sulfur proceeded out of their mouths. 18 The third part of men were
killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the
sulfur that proceeded out of their mouths. 19 For the horses'
authority is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are
like serpents, with heads, and they do harm with them. 20 And the
rest of men, who were not killed by these plagues, did not even
repent of the works of their hands, in order that they would not
worship demons and golden and silver and bronze and stone and wooden
idols, which can neither see nor hear nor walk, 21 and they did not
repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their
fornication nor of their thefts.
Chapter
10
And
I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, who was clothed
with a cloud, and the rainbow on his head, and his face was like the
sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire, 2 and who had a little
unopened scroll in his hand. And he placed his right foot on the sea,
and his left on the land, and cried with a loud voice like a lion
roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders spoke with their
voices. 4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write;
and I heard a voice out of heaven saying, “Seal the things which
the seven thunders spoke, and you may not write them.” 5 And the
angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land, lifted his
right hand to heaven, 6 and swore by the one who lives unto the ages
of the ages, who created the heaven and the things in it and the
earth and the things in it and the sea and the things in it, that
there shall be no more time, 7 but in the days of the seventh angel's
voice, when he was about to trumpet, even the mystery of God was
finished, as he preached to his slaves the prophets. 8 And the voice,
which I heard out of heaven, again spoke with me and said, “Go take
the opened scroll that is in the hand of the angel who is standing on
the sea and on the land.” 9 And I went away toward the angel,
telling him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me,
“Take and devour it, and it will embitter your stomach, but it will
be sweet as honey in your mouth.” 10 And I took the little scroll
out of the angel's hand and devoured it, and it was as sweet as honey
in my mouth; and when I ate it, my stomach was made bitter. 11 And
they said to me, “You must prophesy again before peoples and
nations and tongues and many kings.”
Chapter
11
And
they
gave me a reed like a staff, saying, “Rise and measure the shrine
of God and the altar and the ones worshiping in it. 2 And cast
outside the court outside of the shine and do not measure it, because
it was given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city
forty-two months. 3 And I will give to my two witnesses, and they
will prophesy a thousand two-hundred sixty days while clothed in
sack-clothes. 4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands
standing before the Lord of the earth. 5 And if anyone wishes to harm
them, fire proceeds out of their mouths and devours their enemies;
and if anyone should wish to harm them, he will be killed this way. 6
These have the authority to shut heaven, in order that rain may not
fall during
the days of their prophecy, and they have authority over the waters
to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of
plague as often as they wish. 7 And whenever they finish their
witness the beast that is coming out of the abyss will make war with
them and will overcome them and will kill them. 8 And their corpses
will
lie
on the open street of the great city which is spiritually called
Sodom and Egypt, where indeed their Lord was crucified. 9 And they
of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will see their
corpses for three and one-half days, and they will
not allow their corpses to be placed in a tomb. 10 And those who
dwell on the earth will
rejoice over them and be
glad, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two
prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.” 11 And after the
three and one-half days a spirit of life out of God entered into
them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on the ones
who beheld them. 12 And they heard a loud voice out of heaven
saying to them, “Come up here;” and they went up to heaven in the
cloud, and they beheld their enemies. 13 And a great earthquake
occurred in that hour, and the tenth part of the city fell, and seven
thousand names of men were killed in the earthquake, and the rest
became terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The
second woe passed away; behold, the third woe is coming quickly.
15
And the seventh angel trumpeted; and there were loud voices in
heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of
our Lord and of His Christ, and he shall reign unto the ages of the
ages.” 16 And the twenty-four elders, who sat on their thrones
before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, “We
thank you, O Lord God the Almighty, the one who is and the one who
was, because you have taken your great power and have reigned; 18 and
the nations were wrathful, and your wrath has come with
the time of the dead to be judged and to give the reward to your
slaves the prophets and to the saints and to the ones who fear your
name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy the ones who are
destroying the earth.” 19 And God's shrine in heaven was opened,
and the ark of his covenant was seen in his shrine, and lightnings
and voices and thunders and an earthquake and a great hail
occurred.
Chapter
12
And
a great sign was seen in heaven, a woman who had been clothed with
the sun, and the moon underneath her feet, and a crown of twelve
stars on her head 2 and she was pregnant, crying and suffering labor
pains, and was distressed to give birth. 3 And another sign was seen
in heaven, and behold, a great red dragon, which had seven heads and
ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads, 4 and his tail drew the
third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth.
And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, in
order that when she gave birth he might devour her child. 5 And she
bore a son, a male, who would shepherd all the nations with an iron
staff; but
her child was seized to God and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled
into the desert, where a place had been prepared for her by God, in
order that they might nourish her there for a thousand two hundred
sixty days. 7 And war occurred in heaven, Michael and his angels
making war with the dragon. And the dragon and his angels
warred but did not prevail, neither was their place still found in
heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast, the old serpent who is
called Devil and the Satan, the one who deceives the whole inhabited
earth, was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast with him. 10
And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Now has come the
salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority
of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers was cast, the one
who accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame
him because of the blood of the lamb and because of the word of their
witness, and they did not love their lives until death. 12 Therefore
be glad, heavens and those who tabernacle in them; woe to the earth
and the sea, because the devil came down to you with great anger,
knowing that he has little time.” 13 And when the dragon saw that
he was cast to the earth, he pursued the woman who bore the male. 14
And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, in
order that she might fly to the desert to her place, where she was
nourished away
from the face of the serpent for a time and times and half of a time.
15 And the serpent cast a river out of his mouth behind the woman, in
order that he might make her to be carried off by the river. 16 And
the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and
swallowed the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17 And
the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went away to make war with
the rest of her seed, the ones who keep the commandments of God and
who have the witness of Jesus; 18 and he stood on the sand of the
sea.
Chapter
13
And
I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, which had ten horns and seven
heads, and ten diadems on its horns, and blasphemous names on its
heads. 2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and its feet as
of a bear, and its mouth as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon
gave to it his power and his throne and great authority. 3 And one of
its heads was as it had been slain to death, and the stroke of its
death was healed. And all the earth wondered after the beast, 4
and they worshiped the dragon, because he gave authority to the
beast, and they worshiped the beast saying, “Who is like the beast,
and who can make war with it?” 5 And to it was given a mouth that
spoke great things and blasphemies, and to it was given authority to
act forty-two months. 6 And it opened its mouth in blasphemies
against God, to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle, and those who
tabernacle in heaven. 7 And it was given to it to make war with the
saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to it over every
tribe and people and tongue and nation. 8 And all those who dwell on
the earth will worship him, each one whose name has not been written
in the scroll of life of the Lamb who was slain from the foundation
of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear let him hear. 10 If anyone is
for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be killed by a
sword, he must be killed by a sword. Here is the endurance and
the faith of the saints.
11 And I saw another beast coming out of
the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, and spoke as a dragon.
12 And it exercises all the authority of the first beast before it.
And it makes the earth and those dwelling in it that they shall
worship the first beast, of which the stroke of its death was healed.
13 And it does great signs, that it even makes fire to come down out
of heaven before men. 14 And it deceives the ones who dwell on the
earth to make an image of the beast, who has the stroke of the sword
and lived again. 15 And it was given to it to give spirit to the
image of the beast, in order that the image of the beast might even
speak, and might make as many as might not worship the image of the
beast to
be killed. 16 And it makes all men, the small and the great, both the
rich and the poor, both the free men and the slaves, that they should
give to them a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and
so that no one could buy or sell except they had the mark, the name
of the beast or the number of its name. 18 Here is wisdom. The one
who has reason, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the
number of a man. And its number is six hundred
sixty-six.
Chapter
14
And
I looked, and behold, I
saw
the Lamb standing on the mount Sion, and with him a hundred and
forty-four thousand who had his name and the name of his Father which
had been written on their foreheads. 2 And out of heaven I heard a
sound like a sound of many waters and like a sound of loud thunder,
and the sound which I heard was like that of harpers harping with
their harps. 3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before
the four living creatures and the elders; and no man could learn the
song except the hundred and forty-four thousand, those who had been
purchased from the earth. 4 These are those who were not defiled with
women; for they are celibate. These are those who follow the
Lamb wherever he may go. There were purchased from men as
the
first-fruit to God and to the Lamb. 5 And no lie was found in their
mouth; they are unblemished.
6 And I saw another angel flying in
mid-heaven, who had the
eternal gospel to preach over the ones who sat on the earth and over
every nation and tribe and tongue and people, 7 saying in a loud
voice, “Fear God and give glory to him and worship the one who made
the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters, because the
hour of His judgment has come.” 8 And another angel, the second,
followed saying, “Fell, fell the great Babylon, which has made all
the nations to drink of the wine of the anger of her fornications.”
9 And another angel, the third, followed them saying in a loud voice,
“If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on
his forehead or on his hand, 10 even he shall drink of the wine of
the anger of God that has been mixed undiluted in the cup of his
wrath, and will be tormented by fire and sulfur before the holy
angels and the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up unto
ages of ages, and they who worship the beast and its image, and
whoever receives the mark of its name, have no rest day and
night.”
Chapter
15
And
I saw another great and wonderful sign in heaven, seven angels who
had the seven last plagues, because the finished anger of God was in
them. 2 And I saw what looked like a glassy sea that had been mixed
with fire, and those who overcame the beast and its image and the
number of its name were standing on the glassy sea, having harps from
God. 3 And they were singing the song of Moses, God's slave, and the
song of the Lamb, saying, “Your works are Great and wonderful, O
Lord God the Almighty; your ways are righteous and true, the king of
the nations; 4 who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name?
Because only you are holy, because all the nations will come and will
worship before you, because your ordinances were made manifest.”
5 And after these things I saw, the shrine of the tabernacle of the
testimony in heaven was opened 6 and the seven angels who had the
seven plagues came forth out of the shrine, clothed in clean bright
linen and girdled around their breasts with golden girdles. 7 And one
of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden
bowls filled with the anger of God who lives unto the ages of the
ages. 8 And the shrine was filled with smoke from the glory of God
and from his power, and no one could enter into the shrine until the
seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.
Chapter
16
And
I heard a great loud voice out of the shrine saying to the seven
angels, “Go and pour the seven bowls of God's anger onto the
earth.” 2 And the first went away and poured out his bowl onto the
earth; and a bad and evil sore came on the men who had the mark of
the beast and worshiped its image. 3 And the second poured out his
bowl onto the sea; and it became as a dead man's blood, and the
things in the sea, every living soul, died. 4 And the third poured
out his bowl onto the rivers and the fountains of the waters; and the
waters became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying,
“You are righteous, the one who is and who was, the holy one,
because you judge these things, 6 because they shed the blood of
saints and prophets, and you have given to them blood to drink; they
are worthy.” 7 And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, O Lord God the
Almighty, your judgments are true and righteous.” 8 And the fourth
poured out his bowl onto the sun; and it was given to him to burn men
with fire. 9 And men were burnt with great heat, and they blasphemed
the name of God who had authority over these plagues, and they did
not repent to give glory to him. 10 And the fifth poured out his bowl
onto the throne of the beast; and its kingdom became darkened, and
they gnawed their tongues from the pain, 11 and they blasphemed the
God of heaven from their pain and from their sores, and they did not
repent of their works. 12 And the sixth poured out his bowl onto the
great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up in order that the
way of the kings might be prepared from the rising of the sun. 13 And
I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the
dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the
false prophet; for they are the spirits of demons who do signs, which
go forth unto the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to assemble
them to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. 15 “Behold I
am coming as a thief; blessed is the one who watches and keeps his
garments, lest he walk naked and men see his shame.” 16 And they
assembled them in the placed that is called Harmegedon in Hebrew. 17
And the seventh poured out his bowl on the air; and out of the shrine
a great loud voice came out of the throne saying, “It has
occurred.” 18 And there were lightnings and voices and thunders,
and a great earthquake such as had not occurred since man was on the
earth, such an earthquake, so great. 19 And the great city became
split
into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And
Babylon the great was remembered before God to give her the cup of
the wine of the anger of his wrath. 20 And every island fled, and
mountains were not found. 21 And a great hail like a talent in size
came down on men out of heaven; and men blasphemed God from the
plague of hail, because its plague was exceedingly great.
Chapter
17
And
one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came, and spoke with
me, saying, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the harlot who
sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth practiced
fornication, and those who dwelt on the earth became drunk from the
wine of her fornication.” 3 And he carried me away in the spirit
into a desert. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast,
that was filled with blasphemous names, and that had seven heads and
ten horns. 4 And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and
gilded with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup
in her hand that was filled with abominations and the unclean things
of her fornication, and on her forehead a name had been written, a
mystery, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND THE
ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw that the woman was drunk from
the blood of the saints and from the blood of the witnesses of
Jesus. And seeing her I wondered with a great wonder. 7 And the
angel said to me, “Why did you wonder? I will tell you
the mystery of the woman and of the beast carrying her that has the
seven heads and the ten horns. 8 The beast which you saw was and is
not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction;
and those who dwell on the earth, those whose name has not been
written on the book of life from the foundation of the world, will
wonder upon seeing the beast that was and is not and is present. 9
Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven
mountains, where the woman sits on them, and they
are seven kings: 10 the five fell, the one is, and the other has not
yet come, and whenever he comes he must remain a little while. 11 And
the beast which was and is not, even he is an eighth, and is of the
seven and goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns which you saw are
ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but receive authority
as kings for
one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and they give their
power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the
Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them, because he is Lord of lords and
King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and
faithful.” 15 And he says to me, “The waters which you saw,
where the harlot sits, are peoples and crowds and nations and
tongues. 16 And the ten horns and the beast which you saw, these will
hate the harlot, and will make her desolated and naked, and will eat
her flesh, and will consume her with fire; 17 for God put into their
hearts to do his mind, and to make them
of
one mind and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of
God shall be accomplished. 18 And the woman whom you saw is the great
city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.”
Chapter
18
After
these things I saw another angel coming down out of heaven, having
great authority, and the earth was enlightened by
his glory. 2 And he cried in a strong voice saying, “Fell, fell
Babylon the great, and became a dwelling-place of demons and a prison
of every unclean and hated bird, 3 because all the nations have drunk
of the wine of the anger of her fornication, and the kings of the
earth practiced fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth
became rich from the power of her luxuries.” 4 And I heard another
voice out of heaven saying, “Come out, my people, out of her, lest
you share in her sins, and you receive her plagues; because her sins
are joined together
piled
up to heaven, and God remembered her misdeeds. 6 Give back double to
her as indeed she gave back, double according to her works; mix her
double in the cup in which she mixed; 7 by what things she glorified
herself and luxuriated, give her by so much an
equal amount
of torment and sorrow. Because in her heart she says, ‘I sit a
queen and I am not a widow and by no means do I see sorrow;’ 8
therefore in one day her plagues will come, death and sorrow and
famine, and she will be consumed with fire; because the Lord God who
judges her is strong. 9 And the kings of the earth who practiced
fornication and luxuriated with her will weep and wail over her, when
they see the smoke of her burning, 10 standing from afar because of
the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon
the strong city, because in one hour your judgment came.’ 11 And
the merchants of the earth weep and sorrow over her, because no one
buys their cargo any more, 12 cargo of gold and of silver and of
valuable stone and of pearls and of fine linen and of purple and of
silk and of scarlet, and all thyine wood and every ivory vessel and
every vessel of very valuable wood and of bronze and of iron and of
marble, and cinnamon and spice and incense and ointment and
frankincense and wine and oil and fine meal and corn and beasts of
burden and sheep, and of horses and of carriages and of bodies, and
souls of men. 14 And the fruit of the lust of your soul went away
from you, and all the sumptuous things and the bright things perished
from you, and no more by any means shall you find them. 15 The
merchants of these things, who have been rich from her, will stand
weeping and sorrowing from afar because of the fear of her torment,
16 saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, who had been clothed in fine
linen and purple and scarlet, and who had been gilded with gold
and valuable stone and pearl, 17 because in one hour such great
wealth was made desolate.’ And every steersman and every one
who sails to a place and sailors and as many as work the sea, who saw
the smoke of her burning stood from afar and cried out saying, ‘What
is like the great city?’ 19 And they cast dust on their heads and
cried out weeping and sorrowing, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city,
by which all who have ships in the sea were rich from her worth,
because in one hour she was made desolate.’ 20 Be glad over her,
heaven and saints and apostles and prophets, because God judged her
judgment of you. 21 And one strong angel lifted a stone as a great
millstone, and threw it into the sea saying, ‘Thus Babylon the
great city shall be thrown with a rush, and shall not be found any
longer. 22 And sounds of harpers and of musicians and of flutists and
of trumpeters shall not be heard in you any longer, and every
craftsman of every craft shall not be found in you any longer, and a
mill's sound shall not be heard in you any longer, 23 and a lamp's
light shall not shine in you any longer, and the voice of bridegroom
and of bride shall not be heard in you any longer; because your
merchants were the great ones of the earth, because by your sorcery
all the nations were deceived, 24 and in her were found blood of
prophets and of saints and of all those who were slain on the
earth.’”
Chapter
19
After
these things I heard as a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven
saying, “Hallelujah: Salvation and glory and power of our
God, because his judgments are true and righteous; because he judged
the great harlot who defiled the earth with her fornication, and he
avenged the blood of his slaves out of her hand.” 3 And again they
said, “Hallelujah; and her smoke goes up unto the ages of the
ages.” 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living
creatures fell and worshiped God who was sitting on the throne,
saying, “Amen, hallelujah.” 5 And a voice came out from the
throne, saying, “Praise our God, all his slaves, you who fear him,
the small and the great.” 6 And I heard what sounded like a great
crowd and what sounded like many waters and what sounded like strong
thunders saying, “Hallelujah, because the Lord our God the Almighty
reigns. 7 Let us rejoice and exult, and we will give the glory to
him, because the marriage of the Lamb came, and his wife prepared
herself, 8 and she was permitted to be clothed with bright clean fine
linen; for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.” 9
And he told me, “Write; blessed are those who have been called to
the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These
words of God are true.” 10 And I fell before his feet to worship
him. And he said to me, “See, do not do it; I am a
fellow slave with you and your brothers who have the witness of
Jesus; worship God. For the witness of Jesus is the spirit of
prophecy.”
11 And I saw heaven opened, and beheld a white horse,
and the one sitting on it was called faithful and true, and in
righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 And his eyes are a flame of
fire, and on his head are
many diadems, he has a name written which no one knows except
himself, 13 and is clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and his
name has been called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven
followed him on white horses, dressed in white clean fine linen. 15
And out of his mouth proceeds a sharp sword, in order that with it he
may smite the nations; and he will shepherd them with an iron staff;
and he treads the wine-press of the wine of anger, of the wrath of
the Almighty God. 16 And he has on the garment and on his thigh a
name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw one
angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice saying to
all the birds flying in mid-heaven, “Come, assemble to the great
supper of God, 18 in order that you may eat flesh of kings and flesh
of chiliarchs and flesh of strong men and flesh of horses and of
those who sit on them, and flesh of all men both free and slave, both
small and great.” 19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth
and their armies assembled to make war with the one who sat on the
horse and with his army. 20 And the beast was seized and with it the
false prophet who did the signs before it, by which he deceived those
who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image;
the two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur. 21
And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded out of the
mouth of the one who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled
with their flesh.
Chapter
20
And
I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, who had the key of the
abyss and a great chain on his hand. 2 And he laid hold of the
dragon, the old serpent who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a
thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut and sealed him
over, in order that he should deceive the nations no longer, until
the thousand years are finished; after these things he must be loosed
a little time. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and
judgment was given to them, the souls of those who had been beheaded
because of the witness of Jesus and because of the word of God, and
who did not worship the beast nor its image and did not receive the
mark on their forehead and their hand; and they lived again and
reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not
live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the
first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who has part
in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no
authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will
reign with him the thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years
are finished, Satan will be loosed out of his prison, 8 and will go
forth to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog
and Magog, to assemble them to the war, of whom their number is as
the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up over the breadth of the land,
and encircled the camp of the saints and the beloved city; and fire
came down out of heaven and devoured them; 10 and the Devil who
deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and sulphur, where also
were the beast and the false prophet, and they will be tormented day
and night unto the ages of the ages.
11 And I saw a great white
throne and the one sitting on it from who's face the earth and the
heaven fled and a place was not found for them. 12 And I saw the
dead, the great and small, standing before the throne, and scrolls
were opened; and another scroll was opened, which was the scroll of
life; and the dead were judged by the things written in the scrolls
according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up
the dead in them, and they were judged each one according to their
works. 14 And death and hades were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone was
found not written in the scroll of life, he was cast into the lake of
fire.
Chapter
21
And
I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the
first earth passed away, and the sea was no longer. 2 And I saw the
holy city new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, that had
been prepared as a bride who had been adorned for her husband. 3 And
I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, “Behold, the tent
of God is with men, and he will camp with them, and they will be his
peoples, and God himself will be with them, 4 and will wipe off every
tear out of their eyes, and death will be no longer, nor sorrow nor
clamor nor pain will be any longer because the first things passed
away.” 5 And the one who sat on the throne said, “Behold I
make all things new.” And he says, “Write, because
these words are faithful and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is
done. I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.
7 To the one who thirsts I will give freely out of the fountain of
the water of life. The one who overcomes shall inherit these
things, and I will be God to him and he shall be a son to me. 8 But
for the cowardly and unbelieving and foul and murderers and
fornicators and sorcerers and idolaters and all the liars their part
shall be in the lake that burns with fire and with sulphur, which is
the second death.”
9 And one of the seven angels who had the
seven bowls, filled with the seven last plagues, came and spoke with
me saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the
Lamb.” 10 And he bore me away in spirit onto a great and high
mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of
heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God; its light was like a
very valuable stone, as a jasper stone clear as crystal; having a
great and high wall, having twelve gates, and names inscribed, which
are of the twelve tribes of sons of Israel. 13 From the
east three gates, from the
north three gates, from the
south three gates and from the
west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve
foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the
Lamb. 15 And the one who spoke with me had a golden measure
reed, in order that he might measure the city and its gates and its
wall. 16 And the city lies square with its length as much as its
breadth. And he measured the city with the reed at twelve
thousand stadia; its length and breadth and height are equal. 17 And
he measured its wall a hundred and forty-four cubits, a measure of a
man, which the angel used. 18 And the coping of its wall was jasper,
and the city was pure gold like clear glass. 19 The foundations
of the city wall were adorned with every precious stone; the first
foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the
fourth emerald, 20 the fifth, sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the
seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth
chrysoprasus, the eleventh hyacinth, the twelfth amethyst. 21
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; respectively each one of the
gates was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold like
transparent glass. 22 And I did not see a shrine in it; for the glory
of God enlightened it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 And the nations
shall walk about by its light, and the kings of the earth will
bring their glory into it; 25 and by no means may its gates be shut
by day, for there shall be no night there; 26 and they will bring the
glory and the honor of the nations into it. 27 And by no means may
any profane thing enter into it nor anyone who makes an abomination
or a lie, only those who have been written in the Lamb's scroll of
life.
Chapter
22
And
he showed me a river of living
water
bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the
Lamb. 2 In the midst of the its street and on both sides of the river
was a tree of life producing twelve fruits, each month rendering its
own fruit, and the leaves of the tree will be for the healing of the
nations. 3 And every curse will be no longer. And the throne of God
and of the Lamb will be in it, and his slaves will do service to him,
4 and they will see his face, and his name will be on their
foreheads. 5 And night will be no longer, and they have no need of
the light of lamp and of the light of sun, because the Lord God will
shed light on them, and they will reign unto the ages of the ages.
6
And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true, and the
Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show
to his slaves the things which must occur quickly. 7 ‘And
behold I am coming quickly.’ Blessed is the one who keeps the
words of the prophecy of this scroll.”
8 And I John am the one
who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and I saw, I
fell to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these
things. 9 And he told me, “See that you do not do this;
I am a fellow-slave of you and of your brothers the prophets and of
the ones who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God.”
10 And he tells me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this
scroll; for the time is near. 11 The one who acts unjustly let
him act unjustly still, and the filthy one let him act filthily
still, and the righteous one let him do righteousness still, and the
holy one let him be holy still.”
12 “Behold
I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to render to each man
according to his work. 13 I am the alpha and the omega, the
first and the last, the beginning and the end. 14 Blessed are the
ones who wash their robes, in order that they will have authority
over the tree of life and they may enter into the city by the gates.
15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the
murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and makes a lie.
16 “I Jesus sent my angel to you to witness these things
in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the
bright morning star.”
17 And the Spirit and the bride say,
“Come.” And the one who hears let him say, “Come.”
And the one who thirsts let him come, the one who wishes let him take
the water of life freely.
18 I witness to everyone who hears
the words of the scroll of this prophecy: If anyone adds to
them, God will add upon him the plagues that have been written in
this scroll; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the scroll
of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life
and out of the holy city, of the things that have been written in
this scroll.
20 The one who witnesses these things
says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen, come, Lord
Jesus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
